The Twingo is a vehicle presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1992 and marketed the following year by the car manufacturer Renault.

It is an entry-level car aimed at city-dwellers, young people or people looking for a second car.

More than 4.5 million units of the first generation were produced. With an atypical design for its time, the Twingo is now part of French popular culture; we all remember Danny Boon's humorous sketch making fun of it.

Here the miniature is in its Coriander Green paint, one of the launch colours. Inside, a decal, placed on the seats, reminds us of the famous Soho fabric.
