The Mercedes of the W110 series, colloquially known as the "small tail fin", shared the body ("unit body") with the essentially identical Type 220 S ( Norev 183920 ), which had already been launched on the market in 1959.

The Norev model of the Mercedes 200 represents a typical colour combination of the 1960s. All bonnets and doors can be opened to reveal the beige interior or the technology under the bonnet.
