The BMW M535i of the E12 series was the first vehicle of BMW Motorsport GmbH - today known as BMW M - to be mass-produced. Between April 1980 and July 1981, a total of 1650 units of the 218 hp M535i were built, which featured a modified sports suspension, a spoiler package and the legendary cross-spoke alloy wheels.

For customers who found the M535i too visually restrained, BMW Motorsport GmbH offered an optional decal set in the typical BMW motorsport colours, which is also worn by our exclusive webshop model. This emphasises the sporty note of the perfectly proportioned Norev model.
