The Norev model with the starting number 2 (chassis number #917-021) was driven by the Swiss Jo Siffert and his German co-driver Kurt Ahrens during the 9-hour race in Kyalami in 1970.

The car entered by the Martini Racing team qualified in second place on the grid, but during the race was unable to get past the Ferrari of Ignazio Giunti and Jacky Ickx, which had started from pole position, and finished the race in second position. The 9 Hours of Kyalami was to be the last race that chassis number #917-021 would contest with the Hippie livery. The Norev model in 1/12 scale is an impressive replica of the legendary original and fascinates with its elaborate decoration.
