During Second World War II, military vehicles were used by troops at the front, but also on the runways of airfields far from the front.

This miniature pays tribute to the ground crews who guided the aircraft after they had landed.

They were particularly visible with their specific markings (including this black and yellow chequered one on this miniature) and with their "FOLLOW ME" sign.

On this miniature, the bonnet opens, the windscreen and soft top are fixed..A flag is fixed to the front bumper.. A plate with the marking "FOLLOW ME" is fixed to the rear of the bonnet.
